Chocolate LogWoodwork

I don't ride planks myself but those that like to ride on chicken wire might find this mildly interesting. This is definately forum fodder but as thats dead I thought I would stick it here to keep you away from the evils of STW and pornography. This roller coaster for bikes has been cobbled together by a Stockholm-based artist Anders Jakobsen (also known as Lagombra). Using a junior hacksaw and some UHU he has managed to build a track peaking at more than 2 meters and boasting steep drops and 'logic-defying bends'. 'So far, only one guy can do it,' says director of MU art centre Angelique Spaninks, who commissioned Lagombra. I personally suspect when the freeriding fraternity get wind of this then that number will rise to at least 3 including the resident Jedi master himself. I personally think that it would be a welcome addition to Crufts in the dog agility category. Just so you know dogs generally run off-leash with no food or toys as incentives unlike Mtbers where its really is all about the food and toys. And yes thats a BMX being ridden in this post but hey, if muddy can do a Tour de France thread then then I can have that this once. In the meantime if any one has any riding stories with nice pictures you would like to share mail them to me at earljenx@gmail.com and I might post them up until Wa breathes life back into the forum. Hurry up Wa! Post a comment |

THIS IS PRE-PRE-ALPHA. I.e. it doesn't work. Please don't report any bugs. The forum sort of works - and I should be able to keep any logins that get made, the layout's just fooked.
Try not to break it. ;)
Posted by: wa at July 19, 2008 02:16 AM
i tested it, for you.
would you like me to point out where you are going wrong?
Posted by: theprawn at July 21, 2008 09:40 AM
Nope, like I said, it's not even close to finished, but there's a forum there that works, even if it's not pretty yet with avatars and all that jazz.

Registered, received password, but password doesn't work. Tried getting a new password via "have you forgotten password" link, but it doesn't recognise my e-mail address.
