Well, almost.

Olly didn't take much convincing.

It was suggested over a cheeky half that he might wish to ride a pretty serious rock roll at the top of Whistler - named Filthy Ape - whilst wearing only Speedos and for the insubstantial sum of 20 Canadian dollars rustled up from his so-called friends.

I expected more fight, or at least more greed. Kids these days. Too much bloody Jackass. He agreed. That was that.

Here it is again, ridden in the daytime, with pads, clothes and other such unecessary garb:

And from the top. It really is damn steep. Just ask the pilot of the medical helicopter how many people he's ferried out of there in bits:

Despite blowing a foot off a pedal on landing, as you can see in the second pic, he rode it out alive, and the crowd went wild:

Olly hadn't counted on Kit stealing his clothes after the main event, however, and faced another half an hour of descent in the same attire. He took it well, and gave the munching crowd at the GLC bar some entertainment when he hit the drop into the main arena:

In similar bravado style but with less swimwear, earlier the same day Brummie Mike and Kit rode the Shale Slide of Doom - another cliff face a few hundred metres further up the trail. In my opinion this is a truly nuts move that would only require a slight error to result in a whole world of pain:
