Jedi launching the Herts Shore quarry drop on his Demo 9 : 2mb WMV file

Vid by SkipEvision

No, it's not a suicide attempt, honestly. It's Jedi's first attempt at the Herts Shore quarry drop (2mb WMV file).

He survives relatively unscathed believe it or not, and is putting some work* into the landing before the next attempt.

*Adding spikes, random pit traps and oil slicks to make it a bit more interesting, probably.

Jedi, you're not right mate :o)

Better luck next go. BTW, can you let us know when it is so we can get the scoop for Stopadoodledoo?

What was the cause? Landing looked a bit loose or flat maybe just where you landed (from the video)?

Too high rebound? Do you reckon it's hardtailable ;-)

Nice one though Tony, it's true you're mad as badgers.

Posted by: Rog at September 28, 2004 11:18 AM

Fook me, that's mental!

He'll have it soon I bet.

That is the best crash Ive seen in ages!! Love the running down the hill! Nice one Jedi

Posted by: dom l at September 28, 2004 12:34 PM

looks like he went too slow LD someone lend me a full sus!

Posted by: Skippy at September 28, 2004 01:27 PM

i spent ages cutting the tranny and waiting for enough rain to pack it down.rebound of my shock was too quick but the main problem is the landing area is sand and the area after the touchdown is humped so if i went farther out and touched down there i'd have got air again all the way to flat.it'll take another 10hrs to shape it probably :O))

Posted by: jedi at September 28, 2004 03:50 PM

What I meant to say really was 'Is the bike aright?' ; )

Posted by: Rog at September 28, 2004 06:49 PM

Fuck! That's like some kind of out-take from Drop-In. Glad to hear you walked away from it.
