Chocolate LogChicksands Movie
8 February
Jason likes bikes. He's allowed out sometimes at weekends, too.
It's been a long time coming, but I finally cut all the Chicksands clips together without the machines dying or me finding something more interesting to do. 14mb AVI DivX Post a comment |

You know it's good when everyone makes it look so easy!
Posted by: mike-at-dialledbikes at February 9, 2004 12:13 AM
Thanks fella. Top place isn't it?
Posted by: wa at February 9, 2004 12:15 AM
Yep, I just wish it was closer so as to avoid the horrendous M25 Sunday evening fiasco.
Rich has also posted some pics of today at Woburn & Chick on his site here:

Hi. I'm Jason. I cut people.
Top video mate, well worth the wait :o)
Posted by: Jason at February 9, 2004 08:30 AM
some dude on a white hardtail has their drops sorted, much respect.
Posted by: MrSmith at February 9, 2004 11:41 AM
That's Stu. A week later he was really crossing it up off the ladder drop like a true sports pimp.
Posted by: JCL at February 9, 2004 04:07 PM
the freeride craze spreads eh?
:O)
top dudes imo
Posted by: jedi at February 9, 2004 04:19 PM
What with Stu going for style and Rog going for pace - the full suss crew were being pretty well shown up.
Still, the long jump contest was mine by a mile!!! :-p
Posted by: wa at February 9, 2004 11:50 PM
Speed over skills' what I say. When style fails you speed will get you through it *
*disclaimer. this is poor advice children. Don't try this at home.
Quality vid that. Even had the missus ooing and arring. She was quite impressed (if that's the word) by Jason though and asked how well I knew him.
Posted by: Rog at February 10, 2004 08:09 AM
LOL, has she banned you from coming out when I'm about in case I turn you into a mental as well?
Posted by: Jason at February 10, 2004 08:59 AM
I think she was a littl concerned that I'd get worse than I am now, tainted you might say.
Posted by: Rog at February 10, 2004 05:23 PM

Posted by: jedi at February 10, 2004 05:31 PM
What software do I need to see the video? Downloaded it but only get sound on Real Player. Ta.
Posted by: Bullet at February 10, 2004 10:49 PM
See the videos page and get the FFDshow codecs.
Jedi - we were seeing how far we could get of the little jump near the smaller drop at Chicksands - the one that puts you out on the big track. Very amusing!
Posted by: wa at February 10, 2004 11:38 PM
Cheers jedi :)
I had the belief, just not the er other thing.
Posted by: Rog at February 11, 2004 07:17 AM
rog, when paul told me you dropped it and crashed i was stoked that you tried it dude!!
did wa bling it too?
Posted by: jedi at February 11, 2004 03:31 PM
I wasn't on Bling form mate. Rog just went for it and was well unlucky IMO.
JCL was crossing up and Mart was going large - he's really storming everything on that Banshee!
Posted by: wa at February 11, 2004 04:38 PM
Cheers dude. It will be mine at some point though oh yes. Cheers to mandm for offereing me another go at it with his Banshee instead!
Wa didn't have a go, I think he was almost persuaded but after seeing me crash was put off. I think he's keen to try it in the near future though.

has anyone taken a tapemeasure to the big ladder drop yet. heard alot of guesses but nothing definite.
Posted by: muppet boy at April 23, 2005 02:52 PM
8ft vertical, to the bottom of the ladder, then anywhere up to about 18 - 20ft depending on how much transition you want to use.
