Chocolate LogHigh Rolling
25 October
2.1mb AVI DivX
Here's a short movie from Leith Hill quarry. All of a sudden everyone decided to push fear aside and go for the big roller. One bloke made it down for his first time and then went and did it again, this time whistling a happy tune... Quality! Post a comment |

If I can get my whistling up to par, I reckon I might own it next time!

Did you do it then WA?

Nope, saving it for a rainy day. ;-)

The first time I did that was back when there was still a real steep lip on it a while back. I was still in real J mode back then and did it with the seatpost right up and using spd's. Unfortunately uldn't get my weight far enough back as I got caught up on the saddle.
I thought I was going to stack big time, and everyone watching said my rear wheel lifted off and it looked like I was going to flip over!
I just told them I was trying to do a stylish rolling endo.

is it the quarry i hucked?i couldn't see my line if it was!
Posted by: jedi at October 28, 2003 09:28 AM
Jedi, the bit you jucked off is to the right of that. About 10 feet, maybe 12.
There's also a new line to the left to drop off too.

I was the guy who cleared it for the first time - think I was whistling "Cuante Le Gusta" by the Muppets ("How can we go? We haven't got a dime, but we're going, and we're gonna have a happy time") which usually does the job in these situations. Thanks for helping me break my quarry duck - you can almost smell the fear watching the vid...

Nicely done though, it took me years to get down that bastard!
