Riz drops the 8 footer

Riz nailed the biggy!

I stood in the hole after he'd owned it, and it's well over 6ft - so we're looking at about 8ft all in - which leaves plenty of time for contemplation on the way down.

I thought I save my attempt for another day, the sun was in my eyes, it was a Wednesday, or something.

hmmm not sure, seen one nearby, with a 4ft drop straight after you'd land... is that it?

Is that the one in Sleepy Hollow?

I know this drop, it's a beauty, and sooo smooth. The first time I did it, I was just going to have a look and thought 'why not' at the last moment. After landing it, I was shaking like a shitting dog. A 'mate' said "I didn't see you do it" in a sarky tone, so I had to do it again, and landed even further down. The double after it looks like a killer. Some day......

BTW, have you seen the little double into the steep banking about 30 yards from the ottom of this one? You can land about 10 foot down the hill if you hit the transition correctly ;o)

I think I've seen those but not tried them. Been focused on getting this one done for ages!

On our site - www.discrace.cjb.net, we've got pics of the welcome to surrey drop, all the wedges, and the double after the wedges, just if you want to take a look.
